Sea Spiders
Sea spiders, also called Pantopoda or pycnogonids, are marine arthropods of class Pycnogonida. There are over 1300 known species, ranging in size from 1 to 10 millimetres to over 90 cm in some deep water species. Most are toward the smaller end of this range in relatively shallow depths, however, they can grow to be quite large in Antarctic waters....(Wikipedia)

Photographed over the sand on the way out to the Gareenup Wreck. Thought I had snapped a couple of ok photos of this thing, and was absolutely delighted as it was my first encounter with a Sea Spider, that was soon put to bed when I downloaded the photos onto the computer and all I could do was barely salvage this photo.
