The butterflyfish are a group of conspicuous tropical marine fish of the family Chaetodontidae; the bannerfish and coralfish are also included in this group. The Western Talma is a common sight when diving around Perth and I have seen them on all my dives.
Bottom two pictures are of Juvenile Western Talmas'. Notice the distinct black spot on the dorsal fin.
