I do not know what to really say about the Swan Wreck and, I guess it depends on what your experience with wrecks are. If you have never dived a decent sized wreck like this one before, like myself, then simply put, it is immense and very overwhelming, if you have a vast wreck diving catalogue then I am certain you will be underwhelmed.

Visually the wreck is dull, grey and boring, there is minimal life growing on it other than one or two bits of sponge and some algae, so for those who may have dived in warmer climates and on life encrusted wrecks then she is really a pathetic looking wreck. If you have never dived a wreck, weeeeeeeeeeeeell............... I think it will blow you away, especially the novice diver (don't forget to get your advanced open water or equivalent so you can go deeper).
- This thing is huge and I don't mean a big boat I mean massive..... you cannot see from one end to the other. The day we dived was meant to of been a pretty clear day and I could just about make out the ends when floating over the crows nest in the middle of the ship.
- I think for me the best moment was when I saw the ship for the second time, because the first time it came looming into view I think I was so surprised how overwhelmed I was and, I really couldn't take it all in. When we dived the second time, the current had moved us directly over the Swan and as soon as you put your head in the water you could just see this huge hunk of metal sitting there, absolutely brilliant.
- Ok I am not going to go on and on about it, there is enough photographs and video below, but get down there and give it a go, we went with The Dive Shed in Busselton through Dolphin Scuba in Welshpool Perth. It took a couple of hours to drive down to Busselton from Perth and the roads were generally quiet and the route is pretty much straight forward.
